Rufus Reminds You of the Rain
Rufus is the snooty, know it all, art critic that lives inside the mind of every artist.
You know the saying "April showers bring May flowers?" Well, Rufus does, and like the snake he is, he tries to cut it short. Instead of only April showers, Rufus wants to remind you of all of the showers in your life.
He only wants you to remember the rain, and that when it rains, it pours.
Once he gets that pattern of focusing on the negative started, Rufus knows he has you in a downward spiral where he makes you believe there can be no growth, no progress, and no budding.
My friend, that is where HE IS WRONG!
You are strong. You are resilient. And you are growing!
When you weather those storms of doubt, when you make it through the floods of negativity, and when you allow the rain to nourish your soul instead of setting up root rot, you are growing, you are progressing, and oh boy, will you bud!
It's through those tough times that you will learn more about yourself. Your frame of mind will open to new perspectives and reasoning. You may not see that growth right this moment, but sometimes you have to grow under the surface before you can see it above.
