Painting is Poetry
"Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks."

Though there is no sound attached to it, painting speaks volumes louder than words. It cannot be overpowered by other paintings because each must be appreciated separately. Even within a single painting, each stroke does not speak over the last; they merely complement one another and wait for their turn to exist. The final piece presents a greater form of unity and a more cohesive message than most can communicate through words. Expression through artwork is one of the deepest impressions we can make on others.
