As we are staring down at the end of 2022, it is difficult to not reflect on the last year (even with the holidays in full swing). A LOT has taken place. Joys and heartaches, triumphs and failures, but no matter what, there has been growth.
Honestly, growth is something to strive for every year!
We can almost guarantee that there will be changes. However, can we guarantee those changes will be for the good?
In 2020, I stepped outside my comfort zone, and instead of hiding, I invited everyone to watch. That can be scary, even for experienced artists, but you know what? I did it anyway.
It's important to understand that, as artists, we are all in this together. Overcoming our fears and being vulnerable is part of the creative process.
So, break outside of the box you've let yourself be placed in! Try something new! Try something exciting! Try just being you!
Planning on 2023 being a year of growth is great, but the new year doesn't have to hit. You can start right now.
