Be More Like a Cat

As much as it pains me to say it being a dog person, it would probably do us some good to be a bit more like cats.
For better or for worse, humans tend to conceal emotions. We handle them in the private recesses of our minds, too ashamed or scared to allow someone else to know.
To be an artist, your work must be imbued with your emotions. How you are feeling should be held within the painting and expressed to the viewer. It is a shared moment between the painter and the world.
Vulnerability is key when producing works of art.
SO...maybe it’s time we start being a bit more like cats.
